Statistics
show Small Businesses Look to E-Mail and Social Media
The trend towards email marketing and social media continues as the lastest data indicates that over three-quarters of small businesses will increase their spending on e-mail marketing in 2010, while nearly seven in 10 will put more dollars toward social media. In fact, only 3.8% of businesses with 500 or fewer employees said they would not be using email marketing next year as a primary focus of their marketing efforts.
The future looks quite grim for traditional advertising venues, as more than 70% indicated they would NOT use TV or radio advertising. In fact, even on the internet side, fewer than one-half of businesses said they would do no banner advertising in 2010 as well. Email and social media marketing is the clear winner as the web continues to evolve.
According to a recent study of small businesses with 20 employees or fewer found that email marketing was considered the most inexpensive and effective way to reach new customers due to it's quick response, ease, and trackable email campaign statistics.
It's hard to argue with statistics like these. So what does it all mean to you, the small business owner? You better get on board with a campaign email software system such as Attain Response, or watch your competitors beat you to the punch.
Campaign email works - and adding video to your campaign makes your message even stronger. Do you think you would get so many mails (without video) from businesses with huge marketing dollars if it didn't work? Wait until they all catch on to the power of video!
Do you see the value of
marketing in this manner? Do you think this is an effective
communication tool? Would a system like this increase your
business?
